SettingDescription
Shape Refer to Tunnel Shapes for more information. Select Circular, Rectangular, Horseshoe, Curvelinear.
Vertical Clearance Controls the required clearance for traffic to be able to enter the tunnel. An envelope is computed based on vertical and horizontal clearance which helps drive how the tunnel shape is fitted around the road/rail template. Defaults to 16 feet.
Thickness Controls the thickness of the tunnel shell. If set to zero, there will be a paper-thin thickness. Defaults to 1 foot.
Walkway width The (minimum) width of the walkway on the left/right sides. If set to zero, then a walkway with railings will not be created. Some shapes (circular and curvelinear) may extend the walkway to ensure the shape fits, or add in a small curb if no walkway is requested. Defaults to 4 feet.
Horizontal Clearance The horizontal travelway length that is derived from the road/rail template. The travelway typically is made up of lanes/shoulders (Example, any component that can be driven on). This is a read-only property.
Inside Width The total inside width of the tunnel shape, includes the travelway, buffers, walkways, etcetera. This is a read-only property.
